Come Birthday Shopping with Me!

Hey everyone! So, a fun fact: Funmi Monet and I are birthday twins! Our special days are just a day apart, but this month, between splurging on jewelry and home decor, my budget has taken quite a hit. So, for this birthday shopping trip, I’m keeping it tight!

Funmi picked me up, and the first stop was La La Land for chai lattes—my first time having one, and let me tell you, I’m in love. The perfect fuel for a day of shopping!

We made our way through the mall, knowing exactly where we were headed: Louis Vuitton! Funmi had her eye on something special, and while I won’t spoil it, you’ll just have to guess what she picked up from the table of options. As for me? I came with a mission to grab three fragrances. I mean, how could I shop with the Perfume Queen herself and not snag some new scents?

One fragrance, in particular, caught both our attention, and of course, Funmi insisted I get it. We even had it engraved—such a cute touch! It’s officially my birthday fragrance for the year, and I’m obsessed.

After that, we swung by Sephora to grab some pressed powder because, you know, beauty essentials! But the highlight of the day came as we were leaving the mall. Fumi turned to me and said, “Sugar, you have to get Portofino Ninety-Seven by Victoria Beckham!” And oh my gosh, this fragrance smells heavenly. I even picked up the body oil to match.
