First Day in London: Exploring the City in Style

Guysss, I’m in London!!!! 

It’s the first of my end of the year tripsss, and guess where I landed? LONDON! Let me just say, this city has been on my bucket list forever, and it’s already living up to the hype. The moment I landed, I was greeted by none other than my sister, who welcomed me with the most gorgeous bouquet of flowers. Isn’t she the absolute cutest? 

We hopped into an Uber and headed straight to our hotel—the charming Westminster Hotel. It’s small, cozy, and oh-so-London. Perfect vibes for a first-timer like me. 

Now, after a long day of travel, all I wanted to do was relax, order some food, and settle in. But my sister had other plans. “We’re starting tonight!” she declared. No time to waste in this city! 

First stop? A quick, cute photoshoot by one of those iconic red phone booths (because did you even visit London if you didn’t?). The streets were alive with London energy, and we soaked it all in before heading to dinner. 

We dined at Enish a cozy, stunning Nigerian restaurant. The space was small but intimate, and the vibes were immaculate. Now, here’s the tea: we ordered starters and our mains, but they all came at the same time (a little chaotic, no?). The Jollof rice? Solid 8/10. Didn’t eat much, though, since the courses collided. 

The highlight of the night? My pornstar martini. A straight-up 10/10! Perfectly balanced, just the right mix of sweet and tangy, and definitely a must-try if you’re there. 

After dinner, we hopped back into an Uber and made our way back to the hotel. Exhausted, but in the best way possible. London welcomed me with open arms, and my first day here was nothing short of amazing.
