I’M BACK Y’ALL

Hey Family!!! How are you all doing??? I am so excited that I can finally get this post out and come back to you guys. Today, I’m dedicating this post to each and everyone of my readers! The love and support you guys have given me over the years is unquantifiable. Thank you for sticking it out with this girl called Sugar (Lol). I have received all of your well wishes, even though I might have been a little too lazy or too busy to reply to them (sorry ☹). However, I want you all to take it as a fact that there isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t think about you guys. Always remember that you mean so much to me.

Now, let’s talk about my outfit for a second, because I know y’all love it 😉. My dress is from Missguided and is inspired by the season. I went with a lovely ‘every-type-of-flower-girl’ floral dress and paired it with a nice sandal from Fashionnova and Cult Gaia purse. You can dress this up like I did, or you can dress it down with a nice pair of sneakers. The most important thing is to be comfortable, which is why I love it so much. It’s very breathable and perfect for the Spring and Summer seasons, but I digress

I’m sure you all remember when I got accepted into Nursing School. Honestly, it seems like it was just yesterday. I remember how much I cried behind closed doors because I couldn’t contain my excitement until I announced it on both my blog and my YouTube channel.

Well guess what?!?!? We need a moment of praise and worship because your girl has written her final exam for Nursing School (they’re tears of joy I promise 😊). Even though I haven’t officially graduated, it’s so freeing to not have to think about repeating a course or failing out. It’s a feeling that I can’t take lightly, let me tell you.

And I’m not going to lie, nursing school was hella challenging. More than half of the time I was depressed. I cried a lot and put on a few pounds (lol). Just writing about it now makes my PTSD flare up (the emotional trauma is no joke). You guys might not understand it right now, but I want you guys to see that you won’t get it until you get it. I mean to say that you literally have to be in a Nursing program to understand what your average nurses go through to take care of you and your loved ones. Don’t get me wrong, though. Nursing is an amazing profession, and I’m excited for what is in store for me as a Registered Nurse, and I would not trade the experience for the world.

As an influencer, I only hope that I can inspire you guys to become anything and to do anything that you set your minds to. I’m a firm believer in doing it all. We don’t have to choose one thing or the other. So long as the opportunity presents itself and you have what it takes to accept that challenge I will say: JUST DO THE DAMN THING! Life is too short to live each day hoping that what you want will just fall in your lap. You have got to work for it. Work like it’s already yours, and it will be.

Once I receive my diploma, I will be back to share more of my amazing journey through Nursing School with you guys. There’s oh so much to say, but you guys are just going to have to wait a little while. In the meantime, thank you guys so much for reading today’s blog post!!!
