MY VISIT TO MAPO HALL || TOURIST ATTRACTION IN NIGERIA

Still, on the quest of showing the beauty of Africa and most especially Nigeria. I decided to have a photoshoot at the famous Mapo hall in Ibadan. This is yet another beautiful place with a lot of history to go with it. Mapo Hall is the colonial style Ibadan City Hall. Perched on top of Mapo Hill and popularly known as (Oke-mapo).

WHAT I AM WEARING

TOP: ASOS|| PANT: ROSEGAL || SHOES: ZAFUL || HAT: ROSEGAL

The story of this place as told by old folks as tales to kids is that during the colonial days, the building was tall enough to see the entire expanse of the city of Ibadan. With this, during times of war, soldiers would use this building to spot intruders way before they came into the city. I absolutely love tourism with history; it gives what is intended to be a relaxing task (touring) a little more meaning and depth of appreciation to go with it.

The view of this city from the hill is beautiful and absolutely breathtaking. I was torn between taking photos outside or inside the hall.

I eventually settled for an outdoor photo as I thought it shows the beauty of Ibadan more. Which definitely aligns with the vision I had in mind for the shoot.

For me, this shoot was more like a lifestyle shoot, so for my outfit, I decided to go for a casual but yet chic outfit.

Thanks for stopping by today, love you all. xoxo
