Put Up My First Ever Christmas Tree With Me!

Hey loves!

Guess what? Your girl just put up her very first Christmas tree! I’m so emotional, I could cry. This has been such a wholesome experience, and I can’t wait to share it all with you.

Let me tell you, the journey started off a little rocky. Dragging a 9-foot tall tree across my living room to the perfect spot? Not as easy as it looks, but I made it happen! As soon as I unpacked everything, I was both excited and clueless. Honestly, it took me a minute to figure it out, but once I got the hang of it, it wasn’t as bad as I thought.

When the tree was finally up, without even lighting it yet, it was already giving allthe holiday vibes. Just standing there looking at it, I felt so emotional—like, this is what it feels like to have a Christmas tree of your own.

Fun fact: I couldn’t reach the top of the tree. So yes, I had to grab a ladder to finish setting it up. But let me tell you, once it was done, it was *chef’s kiss*!

Oh, and if you know Sugar, you know I’m always a little extra. So guess what? I didn’t just have one tree—I had TWO! Double for my trouble, right? The second tree is more lowkey—small, cute, and demure—but together, they’re the perfect pair.

Now, let’s talk about the best part: decorating the tree! My amazing interior decor friend, Brit, helped me pick out the ornaments. When I say everything

works perfectly, I mean it. The colors were popping, the ornaments were stunning, and I couldn’t stop stepping back to admire my work. I even added a tree skirt that’s so cozy, it could double as a winter jacket. (Trust me, I tried it on for fun!)

Finally, it was time to top it all off—literally. I added the tree topper, stepped back, and lit it up. Guys, I could cry. It’s soooo beautiful. This tree has completely transformed my space, and I love every single bit of it.

Now that my tree is up, I’m inspired to redecorate my entire house with a Christmas theme! My next blog will take you through the process, so make sure to check back for that.

Thanks for coming along on this journey with me! Let me know if you’ve put up your Christmas tree yet, and if it’s your first time like mine, share your experience!

Love you all,
